What time is brunch?
Join our community of readers and writers at 11:00 AM for time to connect over mimosas and Bloody Marys. Brunch will begin at 12:15 PM.
How much does it cost to attend the brunch?
Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased here.
What will the online broadcast be like?
The online broadcast is free for our whole community. Come together with our brunch audience to honor 35 years of women authoring change. We’ll celebrate each other’s dreams and voices over music, poetry, and a conversation between writers Kristen Millares Young, Casey Parks, and Putsata Reang.
How do I participate in the online broadcast?
Click here before the online broadcast goes live on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 12:30 PM (PT). If you need assistance during the event, please text or call 503-564-3044 between 12:00–1:45 PM (PT) on March 19 and someone will be happy to help.
What will the brunch program be like during EQUIVOX '23?
Our program will pay tribute to our community at Hedgebrook—you, all the writers who came before, and all who are to come. In celebration, we’ll nourish our bodies with a delicious meal as we feed our spirits with stories, music, poetry, and fruitful conversation.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Hedgebrook at the event?
Brunch guests: When you arrive to Sodo Park, you will be asked for your credit card during the registration process to start a tab. You will then be provided a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the event to include all your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. You will be emailed your receipt, or we can print one for you. You can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at checkout.

Please come as you are and however you’re comfortable.

Street parking is available. Please observe posted time limits.
What kinds of drinks will be available, and will they be complimentary?
Mimosas, Bloody Marys, champagne, juice, sodas, water, coffee, and tea will all be complimentary at the brunch event.
What if I have a food allergy?
Just let your server know when you get to your table the day of the event. They can accommodate any food requests you have (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.).
Can I bring children?
This event is appropriate for adults and older teens.
